Like porridge, granola is great at giving you a long lasting energy kick rather than a quick rush. Your day is a marathon, not a sprint - right? So what better way to fuel it than to add a scoop of our Energise blend to your granola to make sure you’re really ready to rock? It also adds a subtle chocolatey, fruity flavour that goes perfectly with the oats and sweet syrup.
2 cups of oats
⅓ cup almonds
3 tbsp chia seeds
¼ coconut flakes
¼ cup of maple syrup
¼ cup melted coconut oil
3 tbsp Energise Mix
3 tbsp buckwheat groats
Preheat the oven to 180˚ and lightly grease a baking tray with melted coconut oil
In a large bowl simply mix all of the ingredients together ensuring the maple syrup has covered everything
Spread the mix evenly on the baking tray and place in the oven for 15 minutes
After the 15 minutes turn the oven temperature down to 150˚ and place back in the oven for 5 minute intervals. Mix the granola at each interval to ensure an even bake.
Bake in total for 45 minutes (it may need an extra 10 minutes depending on your oven to make it perfectly crunchy!)
Spread over your morning porridge, serve in a bowl with your choice of milk, or simply nibble as a snack!
