Dates

WTF are dates?

Dates are the fruit of a date palm tree. They are technically classed as a drupe due to its fleshy fruit, thin skin and stoned center.

We use a dried version of this sweet fruit as an alternative to refined sugar in our Snack Bars, providing a high dietary fibre content.

We also use date syrup in our Almond Drinks as a natural sweetener.

Why should I use it:

  • Fibre
  • Potassium
  • Omega 6
  • Manganese
