This classic avocado dip is an absolute necessity when it comes to making a plant-based meal that still satisfies those Mexican-food cravings. It can be slathered over a baked sweet potato with spicy beans, or at the centre of a heavenly burrito. However you eat it, here’s how to make it as healthily (and deliciously!) as possible.


Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • ½ small red onion
  • 1 small red chilli
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 2 tsp LoveRaw’s ‘Easy Greens Food Booster’ powder
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper for garnish


Method

  • Finely chop the chilli, garlic, and red onion. The finer the chopping the better, as you don’t want to be crunching on chunks of raw onion in your guac!
  • Using a pestle & mortar or a food processor simply blend all of your ingredients together until creamy and smooth
  • Garnish the fresh guac over baked pita chips or simply use as a dip.

Quinoa has taken the healthy-eating world by storm, but what happens if you want to reap its benefits without growing bored of it? You make it into a deliciously quirky salad, of course! The mixture of squash and pomegranate in this recipe sweeten up the dish into something you’ll be returning to for seconds (and thirds, and fourths… you get the idea). The best part is, if you somehow grow bored of the dish, just swap out these veggies for some others!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of quinoa (plus 1 ½ cups of salty water to cook)
  • 1 heaped tsp LoveRaw’s ‘Easy Greens Food Booster’ powder
  • Salt,
  • Pepper
  • Chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Your favourite veggies to make a delicious salad (We used squash and pomegranate)

Method

  • Bring the water to heat in a pan and add a large pinch of salt. Then, add the quinoa and leave to cook for around 15-20 mins
  • In a separate pan add the olive oil and fry off the minced garlic adding the salt, pepper and chilli flakes. Then add in the cooked quinoa.
  • Add the ‘Easy Greens’ powder and give it a good stir. Have a cheeky taste-test and season to perfection.
  • Combine with a plate full of veggies such as roasted squash, pomegranates and leafy greens
  • For a cool dressing on the side, Tzatziki can work very well. But we recommend trying our Tahini Salad Dressing instead for a health-kick that your body will thank you for as well as your tastebuds!

If you fancy a kick of freshness in your cup, then have a try of this! These crisp, fruity greens are ‘boosted’ by our Easy Greens blend which adds a punch of flavour as well as a hefty helping of vitamins and health benefits.


Ingredients

  • Approx 4cm of cucumber
  • 1 small Kiwi
  • 1 green apple (core removed)
  • Large handful of spinach
  • 1 tbsp LoveRaw’s ‘Easy Greens Food Booster’ powder
  • ½ cup of either water or almond milk depending on preference to thickness (we used water!)

Method

  • Simply blend together it aaaaall together and pour into your favourite glass!
  • Garnish with a slice of cucumber

Salads are great, but its too easy to become boring or repetitive if you have them every day for lunch, so it’s all about the way you 'dress' it up! We love mixing nutty and rich flavours with fresh salads for a contrast so why not try tahini! Even better - it's a totally nut free way of trying out this contrast, and our Easy Greens Food Booster blend really adds to the contrast with its earthy flavours!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp tahini paste
  • 1 heaped tsp LoveRaw's 'Easy Greens Food Booster' powder
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • ½ freshly squeezed lemon
  • Cracked black pepper & a pinch of salt
  • Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of chilli flakes (optional)

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients into a small dish.
  • Drizzle over a salad for that added nutty taste. It’s a win win; you have a healthy plate full of greens as well as a nutritious dressing for an extra healthy-kick!

They say you can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs, well we’ve gone one better and added avocado (paired with a generous helping of our Easy Greens Food Booster Blend) to the mix and placed it on a bed of sourdough toast… what more could you ask for?

Ingredients

  • 1 large organic egg (or two if you're feeling peckish!)
  • ½ avocado
  • 1 slice sourdough bread (or if you’re gluten free you can choose a different loaf)
  • 1 level tsp LoveRaw's 'Easy Greens Food Booster Blend' powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chilli flakes

Method

  • Place the egg in a pan of simmering water and leave for 6-7 minutes until you get a runny yolk.
  • While it simmers, prepare your avocado. Whether you’re an avocado-artist or a mash-and-mixer, make sure to sprinkle the Easy Greens mix into the avocado, along with the salt, pepper & chilli flakes.
  • Toast the sourdough bread and top with avocado.
  • Add the soft boiled egg and add another sprinkle of pepper on top.
