Feeling sluggish and under the weather? This is the go-to smoothie to nourish and revitalise your body!

Our Easy Greens Booster is the easiest way to add 6 nutritionally dense Superfoods to this smoothie; containing Organic Spirulina, Organic Nettle, Organic Wheatgrass, Organic Chlorella, Organic Moringa & Organic Kelp!

Spirulina is my favourite superfood (you can also find it in our Cacao & Orange bar), each teaspoon contains 4g's of protein. It's also rich in iron, B vitamins, Vitamin E, Zinc, Iron, Copper and antioxidants!

 

Ingredients:
  1. 1 x frozen banana 
  2. 1/4 of an avocado 
  3. A handful of spinach 
  4. A teaspoon of Easy Greens 
  5. A thumb-sized piece of fresh chopped ginger 
  6. A squeeze of lemon juice 
  7. 1/4 cup plant milk of choice
  8. Handful of ice
Instructions:
  1. Blend all the ingredients in a good quality blender
  2. Voila!

 

Although I am a huge fan of banana based smoothies sometimes is nice to mix things up and experiment with different fruits. The combination of avocado, frozen mango and kiwi just works perfectly as the base for this loaded with goodness green smoothie. For an extra boost I have used our Love Raw Easy Greens food booster which has 6 powerful plant ingredients (Spirulina, Nettle, New Zealand Wheatgrass Powder, Chlorella, Moringa and Kelp) to help you maintain your overall wellness!

A smoothie bowl wouldn’t be complete without lots of toppings, so feel free to go crazy with them as the more the merrier!

Ingredients:

1 cup of frozen mango

1 kiwi cut into chunks (you can keep the skin on)

1/2 avocado

a handful of destemmed kale - if you are new to green smoothie maybe start by adding just a small handful and taste testing while you are blending

1 teaspoon of Love Raw Easy Greens Superfood Blend

a squeeze of lime juice

1/2 cup or more of coconut milk - if you don’t have it on hand you can also use just water, it might just be less creamy

 

My favourite toppings:

Sliced banana

Fresh berries

Quinoa puffs

Coconut chips

extra sliced kiwi

or whatever you fancy!

 

Simply place all the ingredients into a blender apart from the coconut milk. Add gradually the coconut milk until you reach the desired consistency. You might need to use a bit more if your blender is struggling.

Pour the smoothie into a bowl and top with the topping of your choice.

This classic avocado dip is an absolute necessity when it comes to making a plant-based meal that still satisfies those Mexican-food cravings. It can be slathered over a baked sweet potato with spicy beans, or at the centre of a heavenly burrito. However you eat it, here’s how to make it as healthily (and deliciously!) as possible.


Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • ½ small red onion
  • 1 small red chilli
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • 2 tsp LoveRaw’s ‘Easy Greens Food Booster’ powder
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper for garnish


Method

  • Finely chop the chilli, garlic, and red onion. The finer the chopping the better, as you don’t want to be crunching on chunks of raw onion in your guac!
  • Using a pestle & mortar or a food processor simply blend all of your ingredients together until creamy and smooth
  • Garnish the fresh guac over baked pita chips or simply use as a dip.
