5 Plant-Based Desserts for Any Occasion (And a Bonus No-Bake Recipe!)

Looking for a plant-based dessert that doesn’t compromise on taste? Not to worry, we’ve got you covered! We’ve put together a list of five vegan desserts that are downright delicious, require simple ingredients, and are ridiculously easy to make. They’re great for all occasions! We’ve also thrown in a bonus no-bake recipe that’s filled with such fudgy goodness that you won’t believe it’s vegan.

To make things easy, we’ve also listed total times and ingredients!

#1 Plant-Based Brownies

These vegan brownies are heavenly. They’re crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and have a lovely pumpkin spice kick. To make them extra special, we’ve given them a LoveRaw twist by throwing in some of our favourite choc. Plus, this recipe is egg-free and super easy to make. Who said plant-based treats can't be delicious?

Bake time: 20 to 25 minutes, cool for 20 minutes
Ingredients:

  • 4 x Smooth Choc M:lk® Choc Bars
  • 3 x Packs of Caramelised Biscuit Cre&m® Wafer Bars
  • 1 tbsp instant coffee mixed with 50ml boiling water
  • 110g margarine, at room temperature
  • 100ml OGGS® Aquafaba
  • 110g light brown soft sugar
  • 110g caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 210g plain flour, sifted
  • 40g cocoa powder, sifted
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice mix

#2 Plant-Based Cheesecake

This bad boy is full of peanut butter and chocolatey goodness. It’s a creamy vegan cheesecake with a crunchy biscuit base and a secret ingredient that we’re huge fans of - our M:lk® Choc Peanut Caramel Bars! It also serves 10, making it perfect for dinner parties or, if you have a massive sweet tooth, a party of one. We won’t judge…

Bake time: 25 to 30 minutes, cool for 4 hours
Ingredients:

  • 70g pure fine oats (or use blended oats)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sweetener
  • 60g chocolate digestive vegan protein
  • 15g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 50g peanut butter powder + 75ml water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 60ml water + more if needed to create a crumble
  • 300g extra firm tofu
  • 185g soy Greek yoghurt
  • 35g vanilla vegan protein
  • 40g granulated sweetener
  • 20g peanut butter powder + 30ml water
  • Vanilla Flavdrops or 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • 15g peanut butter powder + 2tsp water
  • 15g unsweetened cocoa powder + 3tsp water + vanilla Flavdrops
  • 40g blam peanuts

#3 Plant-Based Blondies

Delicious and definitely worth a try. And the best part? These vegan blondies have 6 ingredients and 3 steps. Minimal effort, maximum dessert. They’re a delightful twist on the classic brownie. We’d say they’re definitely strong contenders for the best vegan dessert award!

Bake time: 20 to 25 minutes, cool for 5 minutes
Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 x cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup plant milk (oat milk or coconut milk are great choices)
  • 1 x tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

There’s something great about the perfect cookie, and that’s especially true of these vegan chocolate chip cookies. They’re crunchy but soft and chewy with our M:lk® Choc Peanut Caramel Bars adding an indulgent twist. They were made to be dunked!

Bake time: 9 minutes, cool for 5 minutes
Ingredients:

  • 170g vegan butter, softened
  • 300g light brown sugar
  • 44g granulated sugar
  • 90 ml plant-based milk
  • 3 tsp vanilla extract
  • 360g plain flour
  • 1.5 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 180g vegan chocolate chips
  • Peanuts
  • Peanut butter

  • Melted vegan chocolate for drizzling

#5 Plant-Based Banana Bread

Banana bread lovers, here’s one for you! We’ve given this classic dish a generous helping of our heavenly vegan chocolate.? Help yourself to a slice!

Bake time: 50 to 55 minutes, cool for 5 minutes
Ingredients:

  • 3 very ripe bananas (preferably overripe)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil / any neutral oil / melted vegan butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flaxseed mixed with 2.5 tbsp water and left for 10 mins to set)
  • 1/3 cup milk of choice
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar or caster sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
