10 Super Delicious Vegan Dessert Recipes

 At LoveRaw, we’re all about vegan desserts that satisfy sweet tooth cravings. That’s why we’ve put together a list of our favourites. They're great for Veganuary (and whenever sweet cravings strike) – they’re easy to make and so downright delicious that they’re guaranteed hits with even unvegan vegans!

With these egg-free recipes and simple swaps like replacing cow milk with plant-based milk or butter with coconut oil, you’ll be on your way to fabulous vegan sweet treats in no time. To help you pick which one to make, we've listed the ingredients you need.

#1 Vegan Chocolate Brookies

Where better to start than with something fudgy and decadent? Our brookies are a glorious combination of brownie batter and cookie dough baked to perfection and topped off with M:lk Choc Nutty Choc Balls – a vegan dessert for the ages!

Ingredients for brownie batter and cookie dough:

  • 160g plain flour
  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 150g sugar
  • 120g LoveRaw M:lk Choc Bars
  • 120g vegan butter
  • 2 flaxseed eggs (2tbsps ground flaxseed with 5 tbsps water, left to rest)
  • 60ml coffee (instant coffee & boiling water)
  • 1tsp vanilla extract
  • 180g plain flour
  • 100g sugar
  • 100g vegan butter
  • 100g chopped LoveRaw M:lk Choc Bars
  • 2tbsps water
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt

#2 M:lk® Choc Orange Buns

Give yourself a lift with these cinnamon and orange flavoured buns. Baked till golden brown, they’re light and fluffy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. So good you won’t believe they’re plant-based! 

Ingredients for dough and filling:

  • 375ml warm oat milk
  • 4 tsp yeast
  • 100g caster sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground flax in 6 tbsp water
  • 120g melted vegan butter
  • 1050g strong white bread flour
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 150g LoveRaw M:lk Choc Orange Bar
  • 50g vegan butter
  • 75ml oat milk
  • Glaze
  • Zest of half an orange
  • 350g icing sugar
  • 70ml boiling water

#3 Chocolate Hazelnut Cupcakes

There’s plenty to love about our dreamy cupcakes. The buttercream is delightfully rich, and for that perfect crispy yet creamy texture, they’re rolled in chopped hazelnuts and topped off with our M:lk Choc Nutty Choc Balls. They’re great for when you have guests over (though we won’t say anything if you fancy keeping them for yourself).

Ingredients for the cupcakes and chocolatey buttercream:

  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 1/2 cup vegan butter
  • 1 3/4 cups self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups caster sugar
  • 1 medium vegan “egg” (aquafaba egg or flax egg are fine)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 block of vegan butter (250g)
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chopped hazelnuts
  • 12 LoveRaw Nutty Choc Balls

#4 Nutty Choc Ball Oats

If you enjoy a treat in the morning, then you’ll love these dairy-free oats. They take only 5 minutes to make, and you can add all sorts of yummy toppings like freeze-dried raspberry pieces or our M:lk Choc Nutty Choc Balls to lift the flavour and kickstart your day. Just one spoonful and you’ll be hooked!

Ingredients for oats and toppings:

  • Banana
  • Nutty Choc Balls
  • Vanilla almond yoghurt
  • Hazelnuts
  • Belgian chocolate granola
  • Desiccated coconut
  • Freeze dried raspberry pieces
  • 50g oats
  • (Optional) 30g Chocolate Salted Caramel Protein Blend
  • 220ml plant based milk (oat milk or coconut milk works well here)

#5 Chocolate & Hazelnut Baklava

Layers of flaky pastry, rich chocolate, and a zesty orange drizzle combine to make a vegan dessert that’s simply irresistible. It’s the classic baklava with a chocolate twist!

Ingredients for pastry, nut mix, syrup, garnish:

  • 100g butter - melted⁠
  • 250g filo pastry ⁠
  • 200g hazelnuts (save a small handful for topping)⁠
  • 100g almond butter⁠
  • 30g dark chocolate - roughly chopped ⁠
  • 4 Nutty Choc Balls - roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp orange juice and zest ⁠
  • 100g sugar ⁠
  • 100ml water ⁠
  • 5g vanilla paste⁠
  • 4 Nutty Choc balls - cut in half ⁠

#6 Peanut Buttercup Banana Bread

Our vegan banana bread is so good you’ll be licking the plate clean! But what makes it so special? Our gluten-free Peanut Butter Cups and Smooth Choc M:lk Choc Bars

Ingredients:

  • 3 very ripe bananas (preferably overripe)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil / any neutral oil / melted vegan butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 flax egg (1 tbsp ground flaxseed mixed with 2.5 tbsp water and left for 10 mins to set)
  • 1/3 cup milk of choice
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar or caster sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 5 LoveRaw M:lk Choc Peanut Butter Cups, chopped up into bite sized pieces

#7 Vegan Granola Rocky Road

This is the definition of an easy vegan dessert! With only 4 simple ingredients, it’s ridiculously easy to make and works well as a dessert or a midday snack to bump up your energy levels. It's perfect for Veganuary when you're craving something sweet.

#8 Baked Protein Cheesecake

This vegan cheesecake has a delightful biscuit base and serves 10. It's the perfect sweet treat to serve at a dinner party or a night in with the family. And it's decadently indulgent with layers of peanut butter and chocolate – what's not to love?

Ingredients for biscuit base, cheesecake, and toppings:

  • 70g pure fine oats (or use blended oats)
  • 2tbsp granulated sweetener
  • 60g chocolate digestive vegan protein
  • 15g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 50g peanut butter powder + 75ml water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 60ml water + more if needed to create a crumble
  • 300g extra firm tofu
  • 185g soy Greek yoghurt
  • 35g vanilla vegan protein
  • 40g granulated sweetener
  • 20g peanut butter powder + 30ml water
  • Vanilla Flavdrops or 1tsp Vanilla essence
  • 15g peanut butter powder + 2tsp water
  • 15g unsweetened cocoa powder + 3tsp water + vanilla Flavdrops
  • 40g blam peanuts
  • 2 LoveRaw Peanut Caramel Bars

#9 M:lk Chocolate Cookies

This is a twist on vegan chocolate chip cookies. The secret ingredient is our M:lk Choc Cre&m Wafer Bars. (Good luck resisting a spoonful of the cookie dough!) Crunchy, chewy and chocolatey in all the right places, they make for a vegan dessert classic.

Ingredients:

  • 4 LoveRaw M:lk Choc Cre&m Wafer Bars
  • 3 LoveRaw M:lk Choc Bars
  • 125 g vegan butter
  • 175 g light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 300 g plain flour
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 75 ml vegan milk

#10 Vegan Peanut Butter Fudge

This no-bake fudge recipe is gloriously indulgent. Better yet, it has only 3 ingredients! They're so easy to make and so downright delicious, that they may just be the most perfect vegan dessert!

  • 1x 100g Bar of Vegan Chocolate (we used Sea Salt Dark Chocolate)
  • 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter
