Peanut Butter & Banana Donuts

#NationalDonutWeek ... any excuse to make donuts and we're GAME! These bad boys are light, moist and baked so they're a little healthier than the fried version.


1 x cup spelt flour 

1/4 cup coconut sugar 

1 x tsp baking soda 

1 x tsp baking powder 

6 x TBS plant milk 

1 x tsp apple cider vinegar 

1/2 tsp cinnamon 

2 x TBS coconut oil 

1 x mashed banana 

1 x LoveRaw M:LK CHOC BAR 



In a small bowl mix the milk and apple cider vinegar and leave it aside for about 5 mins to create 'buttermilk'. In a large mixing bowl start by mashing your banana and then mix in all of the other wet ingredients. Once combined go ahead and add in the dry ingredients. Don't over mix as we want to keep things fluffy and light! Spoon the batter into a coconut oil greased donut tray and bake for 10 minutes until golden at 200°C. Makes 6 donuts. Decorate with either peanut butter or melted chocolate plus some chopped up PB Buttercups!
